Powering an EV charging station with unpredictable energy demand using 100% locally generated RE sources such as wind and PV is a major challenge, which was solved with a CellCube LDES as part of this innovative microgrid. As one of the first of its kind, this EV charging station became the favourite of several first-time EV drivers at the time.
